We loaded up the car with 2 adults 4 kids and a great grandma. Headed out through Wyoming, Trecked through Tensleep, then the lower Tetons, and over to Driggs, ID. There we went to a baloon festival and then headed to Idaho Falls. We had pizza with Aunt Tanya and her fam, dropped off Granny Gert and found our hotel. We went to an awesome 4th of July parade and then to a more awesome backyard picnic. We went back to the hotel to rest (4 year olds) and swim (10 year olds). Baby Bryce and Uncle Todd met up with us there and we swam until it was time to eat and watch fireworks. We had to head back the next day but the boys got to log some time at the skate park with Uncle Todd first. We spent the night in West Yellowstone.
The next day we did the Yellowstone Park drive to include the paint pots and Old Faithful. We didn't see moose until we were out of the park and almost to Cody. We had a really great dinner there and lazed around town shopping and playing mini golf the next morning.
The views and drive through the Big Horns were great we saw more moose and finally a bear. Along the interstate between Sheridan and buffalo of all places!!! A beautiful sunset outside of Buffalo and then a late night home.
